I'm not dead
20th-Oct-2004 09:24 pm
Bronze Phoenix
Even though this Journal is neglected and I've been accused (credited?) with being a vampire. (That's a running joke over at PhoenixSong.net.)

The Boston Red Sox have just made history. The FIRST team in the history of baseball to come from a 3 - 0 deficit to win the Pennant! This is cool. Sorry, Yankee fans, but I had to root for the Sox. The Yankees have been in the World Series lots of times.

Go, Sox!

Other news... I've updated my Friends list to include all you nice people who've friended me (and I hope you don't drop me for the Bo-sox thing.) Thanks for including me!

I'm going to Colorado on Monday. Maybe I'll post some travel commentary.

I'm also participating in the NaNoWriMo in, ta-da! November! I've got an idea... a fantasy story involving something that I am all too familiar with... JOB HUNTING! (Yeah, kind of a horror story.)

Fortunately, my job seems secure. My boss seems to like me.

Hey, nice to see you, Jels. It was kinda cool the Sox won. But I grew up an Angels fan. I'm a believer in anyone but the Yankees, sorry Krystal. So what do you get to do in Colorado? And are you going to the pretty part, or just the flat part?

Hi, Jels.
Are you getting excited about going to Colorado, and have you been before? Hubbie has been to the Grand Canyon and complained about the snow. Honestly! *rolls eyes* This from a Scot!

Jill- I never thought you were dead! I like to thin you're *undead*. Hence, the vampire thing... Colorado, eh? That's cool. You should come to New York though. The sites, the sounds, the me!

Kelley- It's ok. I'll always love the Yankees (A-Rod and Jeter, yummy) but I have to give it to the Sox. They played very well. As did the Cardinals, sorry Jels.
